I’m a kind of person that is used to having a million things to do outside the house, be it work-related, school-related, or just being social. Throughout the whole semester I feel like I’ve rarely seen the afternoon sun from my bedroom window. But here I am, in the end of the semester…at home at 2:31pm and *gasp*, fully awake. And, get this… I don’t know what to do at home.
I could think of atleast 10 things I can do, but for some reason the thought of getting them done is very unattractive. I’ve walked back and forth from my bedroom to the kitchen to find that I have nothing ready-to-eat except Meranti Keju (which shows that I haven’t been grocery shopping in a while…)
what’s more, I had the eeriest dream last night. Sharing it here in public is not something I would do, as truthfully it is something that I would like to keep in the deepest part of my heart, locked away. At times like these I feel rather lonely, because I find that the people I can share my current feelings with (without hurting them) are slowly coming to a meager amount.
Or… maybe it’s just me who’s avoiding everyone.
maybe i’m just antisocial.
maybe i want to feel lonely..

at izuan’s open house, shah alam:
Forever21 black tshirt, batik dress from Bali, Fourskin black belt, Melissa Campana White bag, and necklace from Beijing
sigh. so much thoughts jumbled in my head, so little time to set it straight. and so little amount of people willing to cooperate.
well i was reading shazeea’s post on Times Higher Education QS World Rangkings and it mentioned that on an overall rating, Monash was rather #47 worldwide. Of course, that rangking had dropped from #43 in the previous year, #38 in the year before that, and #33 before that.
but then shazee posted world rangkings in terms of her major, so I thought I’d check out mine. since i’m still kind of confused what exactly my area of expertise is on (yeah i’m already in third year but i don’t know whether my course is more towards Arts and Humanities or Social Science… since the name of my school is School of Arts and Social Science). but anyway, Arts and Humanities is ranked #33 while Monash’s Social Sciences is ranked #25 worldwide (not too shabby right?)
the thing is when I enrolled in Monash’s Arts course I really was bewildered to see that the demand for this course in sunway campus was not too high compared to engineering, business, science, etc. but now school of arts and social sciences is developing and i’m actually quite proud of being part of this school (haha cheesy moment)
So I guess I feel better now, since I finished one of my pestering assignments today and have 2 more to go!

MNG Canary Yellow Cardigan, ZARA printed Loose T-Shirt, Forever21 Denim Highwaisted Skirt, Necklace from Birdie, Sg Wang.
I went to LAPSAP’s Junkyard Sale and BBQ at Palate Pallate today. I love Palate Pallate, it has got to be one of my favorite places in KL. And I’m happy I got quite a number of things, although I wish I got more. But the place was a tad bit crowded for my liking, but its okay. Atleast I only spent RM80 today
blue and white polkadot throw, pink and purple fllowered cardigan, white colored skirt, yellow shirt, and vintage jacket.
and now i have to go back to my assignments, 2 dued this week. One is making a news website and the other a scripted and recorded television program. But atleast I only have 1 exam

my intership application at the Jakarta Post was rejected because of no vacant positions.
sob.
yet apparently, because I have “education qualification, I stand a good chance of being accepted as an intern” in the Jakarta Post.
i’m not exactly disappointed, in a way because they mentioned that they did like my application. it’s just that i don’t exactly have any other time to intern other than now, and i really really (did i mention really?) wanted to work at the Jakarta Post.
I really can’t imagine if I have to work in a non-international institution. I mean, somewhere that has Indonesian as the working language. I’m not confident with writing in Indonesian, I feel like a fool.
Sigh.
And I can’t find CNN Bureau Jakarta’s contact details. If I can I would’ve sent my application there as well…
Double Sigh.
Let’s just cross fingers..
