Procrastinating…again. This time, it’s Ridzki’s fault. I was tagged to fill in this:
Rules :
1. Each blogger must post these rules
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’ve been tagged and to read your blog.
SO, here is eight random facts/habits of Siti Camelia Harahap
1. Whenever I go shopping the first thing that catches my eye are clothes that are purple
2. I have a secret habit of watching Hannah Montana on Disney Channel every time I go back to Jakarta
3. The strangest things always happen to me during a full moon
4. I have a tendency to choose essay topics that are linked to either Censorship, Freedom of Press, China, or Communism
5. Every time I buy a new SIMcard, I always choose a cellphone number that has the numbers 2, 4, and 8
6. I get agitated every time a trend becomes overrated (ie: facebook, nu rave, indie music)
7. I have never spent a holiday in Bali (But I’ve transited there several times to fly to Australia)
8. Bram just cut my bangs. If it looks stupid then blame it on him!
People to tag: Bram, Acai, Chamon, Piduth, Kai C, Astried, Izuan, Dhanto

im really just looking for another excuse to ignore my com2409 essay on a post-representational analysis of buffy the vampire slayer episode hush with reference to its affect and sound dimension of media textuality, aren’t i?

Ted Baker’s Ells Bag
look who got a new toy.
HOWEVER, what I just bought was not the Ells bag, it was indeed the Bamo bag (but i couldn’t find an image of it online, and the Ells bag was the closest to it). The difference is, you see, the Bamo bag is not just a shoulder bag. It has handles that actually makes it primarily a hand bag, and the straps that is used for a shoulder bag can be taken off. Another difference is that the Bamo bag doesn’t have the double leather lining in the front, because it’s just one big pocket, not two.
I gotta say that I have somewhat of a bag fetish (despite previously believing that I had a sunglasses fetish, wait, actually I think I have both fetishes). About several weeks before, I had just purchased a crocodile skinned (probably not authentic) brown leather men’s bag from SEED, which was oversized and (rather) heavy. But I still loved it.

And before that, it was the small black shoulder bag from Miss Selfridge which was on sale and I became a sucker for it. And even before that I placed my name down for the all too famous Anya Hindmarch “I’m not a plastic bag” bag, which now is becoming SLIGHTLY overrated (see how I emphasized on ’slightly’?) and I wished I had used it really as a plastic bag for grocery shopping. That would’ve helped me save the world and not be caught up in the world’s ever changing fashion trend.
Anyway,
I know I have a problem. Maybe an addiction. Why? Because I’ve just bought one handbag and now I’m already prowling for my next victim. Rawrr!

move over “I’m not a plastic bag“!!!
there’s a new kid in town.
Ecoist is a new range of eco-friendly handbags and accessories made from recycled materials, including confetti, newspaper, barcodes, candy wrappers, pull tabs and even movie billboards.
as for me personally, i’m going ga-ga over the confetti envelope, and also the candywrapper portfolio
if only it was available for purchase here.
aaaaah.

just a couple of weeks ago i was talking to several friends and, out of no where, i remarked,
“you know what the least mentioned city in indonesia is? BENGKULU. you don’t hear much about it do you? I mean you’re practically fed up with hearing news about Aceh, you’ve got friends who live in Medan, you make fun of people for their Padang-ness, Lampung is near Java, Riau people are swarmed in Malaysia, but what about Bengkulu?”
it seems as though God has heard me.
“an earthquake of 8.9 ritcher (or 5.7, or 8.4, or 7.9…please people, give me the real stats!) hit Bengkulu which caused damaged to almost 80% of the houses in the area.”
okay, i guess now Bengkulu has finally found a way to the spotlight.
